Puppy Skills – Reward-Based Puppy Training in Melbourne
Start your puppy off right with confidence, calm manners, and essential life skills.
Puppies can begin Puppy Skills training between 8 and 16 weeks of age. Our classes are held in Croydon, in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, providing a safe, controlled, and welcoming environment for your puppy to learn and socialise. This is one of the most important learning stages in a dog’s life, and early, positive experiences can make a lifelong difference.
Who are Puppy Skills classes for?
Puppy Skills classes are ideal for first-time puppy guardians as well as experienced dog owners who want to give their new puppy the best possible foundation. If you’re looking for structured, supportive puppy classes in Croydon and surrounding eastern suburbs, this program is ideal for you.
Why early puppy training matters
At this young age, puppies are especially receptive to learning and new experiences. Early, positive training and socialisation help prevent common problem behaviours from developing and support your puppy to grow into a confident, well-adjusted companion. Our force-free, reward-based training methods prioritise your puppy’s emotional wellbeing while building essential skills.
Our approach to Puppy Skills training
Our Puppy Skills classes are fun, practical, and rewarding for both puppies and their guardians. Classes are run in small, friendly groups to ensure each puppy receives individual attention. Training is modern, science-based, and reward-focused, and all sessions are held in a clean, controlled environment where puppies can learn safely and comfortably.

What makes Puppy Skills different?
